McDonald's has just launched adult Happy Meals in Australia, and it's safe to say we're more than a little big jealous.

The adult Happy Meal landed on US shelves in 2022 for a limited run, and now Aussie McDonald's shoppers can get in on the fun.

The Happy Meals landed on February 14th, and the boxes come with fries, a drink of choice and either a Big Mac or a 10-piece chicken nugget box.

As for the toy? The adult Happy Meal will come with a 90s McNugget Buddies collectible.

McDonald's adult happy meal toys - what are McNugget Buddies?

What are McNugget Buddies, I hear you ask?

The McNugget Buddies have been redesigned by designer, Kerwin Frost, but were first introduced to McDonald's customers in Australia back in 1998.

The first toys were glow-in-the-dark, and they existed in several iterations until they were axed in 2019.

One of the new toys is actually meant to be a miniature version artist Frost himself, face tattoo and all.

Meanwhile, the others are Don Bernice, Uptown Moe, Waffutu, BRRRICK and Darla, all inspired by his childhood in Harlem.

Each toy also comes with a trading card, so collectors can really take things seriously...

What McDonald's adult happy meals have existed previously?

This is the second McDonald's adult Happy Meal after McDonald's US did a collaboration with Cactus Plant Flea Market back in October 2022.

The boxes were a raring success at the time and there have been calls around the world for different markets to get their own version.

Sadly, there's still no UK adult Happy Meal in the pipelines, but we're happy Aussie McDonald's shoppers have their moment.

The Kerwin Frost Box will be available for a limited time, so those living Down Under should run and pick it up, ASAP.
